With the development of technology, the Internet is used more prevalently. Although it has many benefits, it also brings a significant number of negative effects. This essay will indicate two crucial issues relating to the web’s usage and give several solutions .
One of the major problems associated with this is a decrease in interaction between people in real life. To illustrate, many families nowadays often surf webs after dinner instead of talking to others. Facebook, for instance, is one of the most popular applications which many people, especially teenagers become addicted to the virtual world so that they can spend hours surfing Facebook. From this, people gradually lose real relationships and reduce essential social skills such as communication skills .
Another serious issue is that the personal information of Internet users can be stolen easily. It is because when individuals post their public information on unsafe social networks, hackers can access and steal the important information of Internet users to unlock their ngân hàng accounts. For example, in 2017, many Vietnamese teenagers were stolen personal information and much money in ngân hàng account by using Pitu which is an image editing software of Trung Quốc .
To tackle these problems, individuals first need to engage in physical activities. Group activities are ideal for many people to participate and connect to others to increase close relationships in reality. For example, decorating the classroom is a good way for students to work together because it requires contacting between them to exchange their ideas. Another viable solution to this problem would be for Internet users to be cautious before downloading an application by limiting unnecessary application permissions and avoid sharing personal information in unsafe social networks .
In conclusion, the widespread use of the Internet brings two main problems are the loss of interaction in real life and the low security of users ’ information. However, I believe that these problems can be reduced significantly by participating in group activities and protecting personal information .
